Dr. Lav Goyal is a board certified Radiation Oncologist at the Michael and Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was recently named one of America's Top Doctors.

He is a member of The American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and a board member of the American Cancer Society (ACS) (Broward County).  In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Goyal has also earned an MBA from The University of Miami with a focus in health care.

He leads one of the nation's most comprehensive teams dedicated to the coordinated effort of curing cancer.

He has given numerous lectures both nationally and internationally and treats patients not only from South Florida, but throughout the United States, the Caribbean and South America.

Dr. Goyal has been successfully treating a wide variety of malignancies for almost 20 years.  He is one of only a limited number of radiation oncologists in the world who is an expert in using Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy, Prostate Seed Implants, and High Dose Rate Brachytherapy.

He is a leader in both advanced treatment techniques and patient-centered care.

Dr. Goyal’s innovative techniques have led to decreased side-effects and highly successful oncologic outcomes to patients from around the world.

His contributions have been recognized worldwide through his publications, lectures, and training.

Dr. Goyal previously served as assistant professor of Radiation Oncology at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  Prior to that, he completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he served as chief resident.  While a resident, Dr. Goyal scored in the 99th percentile on his board exams.

Aside from teaching and treating patients, Dr. Goyal serves on a Patient Satisfaction committee, whose purpose is to continuously strive to provide better service to cancer patients.
