Cancer Survivorship e-Newsletter

For Cancer Survivors and their Families

The Survivorship e-Newsletter is designed to keep our cancer survivors and their families abreast of happenings around the Bienes Cancer Center: new physicians, staff, treatment equipment and procedures, and advancement in their overall care. Cancer survivors and their families may also submit information to the editor to be included in the e-Newsletter. Different authors (from the Cancer Center) will be providing articles, pearls of wisdom, information about quality of life for survivors, highlights and recognition of survivors with their consents, and the like in each of our four electronic newsletters per year.

Three Women Photo

Cancer risk assessment, screening and prevention programs are vital to educating people about reducing their chances of developing cancer and assessing the need for intervention. Under the direction of our genetic nurse counselor and the Bienes Cancer Center physicians, our Cancer Risk and Prevention Program is for anyone with cancer or a family history of cancer. The vast majority of participants are women who have or have had breast or ovarian cancer, or are at high risk of developing these two cancers. Click to learn more about Genetic Counseling.
